Summon · Sacrifice · Soul Engine · Minion Army
New to Slay the Spire 2, the Necrobinder summons minions to fight alongside her. Minions can tank hits, deal damage, or be sacrificed for powerful effects. The Soul mechanic, fueled by minion deaths, is her primary resource for high-impact cards. She's a high-skill-cap character who rewards careful board management and sacrifice timing.
Summon Skeletons (taunt/tank), Ghosts (passive damage), and Abominations (heavy hitters) to your side. Each minion type has different stats and effects. Max 4 minion slots — manage your board carefully.
Destroy your own minions for powerful effects: draw cards, gain energy, deal burst damage, or heal. Every sacrifice fuels your Soul counter, which unlocks your strongest finishers.
Souls are your secondary resource. Spend accumulated Souls on high-impact cards like Soul Nova (AoE damage per Soul) and Death Pact (heal + soul gain). Banking Souls for the right moment defines the Necrobinder playstyle.
Flood the board with minions and overwhelm enemies through sheer numbers. Undead Commander buffs all minions. Mass Grave summons 3 Skeletons at once. Use minions as your primary defense — let them tank instead of spending energy on block.
Summon cheap minions, then sacrifice them for massive Soul generation, card draw, and energy. Dark Offering provides card draw and energy. Ritual of Pain deals damage when minions die. Keep the engine running — summon, sacrifice, repeat.
Bank Souls throughout the fight for a massive Soul Nova finisher. Each Soul adds damage. Pair with Soul Absorption for Soul generation. Spirit Leech steals Souls from enemies. One-shot bosses by unleashing 10+ Souls at once.
