How to Use

0 cost, AoE damage, AND double debuff. Meteor Shower is Regent's best utility card. It clears minions, applies Weak for survival, and Vulnerable for follow-up damage — all for zero energy. In multi-enemy fights (Slime Boss, Sentries, Gremlin Leader), no card does more work per mana. Play it every time you draw it against 2+ enemies.

Drafting Philosophy AoE MVP

Meteor Shower fits any Regent deck thanks to its 0-cost nature. It's the only Ancient card that provides simultaneous AoE damage AND dual-debuff application. In AoE-heavy encounters (common in Acts 1 and 2), it single-handedly carries. Even in single-target fights, 14 free damage + debuffs is never bad.

The Sealed Throne Monarch's Gaze Dying Star

The Sealed Throne generates a Star when you play Meteor Shower (since it's a card play). Monarch's Gaze makes every hit strip 1 Strength — in multi-enemy fights, this strips 3-5 Strength from each enemy. Dying Star adds massive Strength reduction on top, completely neutralizing enemy damage.
